1. Be findable first

People search the directory by company, role, industry and interests. A profile with no photo, no designation and no industry does not come up in anyone's search, and does not get accepted when it does. This is the step everything else depends on.

2. Build a shortlist before you travel

Browse the attendee directory and filter by what you sell or what you are looking to buy. Twenty names you actually want to meet beats five hundred you scroll past. Browsing is free on every pass.

3. Ask, and say why

Send a request with a reason — what you do and what you want twenty minutes for. Requests with a reason get accepted far more often than a bare connect.

Receiving and accepting requests is free on every pass, including a Visitor Pass. Starting a conversation is part of every paid pass.

4. Fix the time before you arrive

Once someone accepts, agree a slot in the app. The halls are loud and the corridors are full; a meeting with a time on it happens, and one left to "find me at the stand" does not.

5. Take a room if the conversation is worth one

Four private boardrooms sit inside WTC Mumbai, steps from the floor — for client demos, partner sessions, investor conversations or anything you would not say in a corridor.

6. If you are selling, be somewhere people can find you

A stand on the exhibition floor or a sponsorship puts you in front of everyone for two days rather than one meeting at a time. Both are quoted by the team, not self-served.
